Secure E-Waste Solutions Awarded Highest Rating By CalRecycle
Electronic Recycling Company First To Meet Highest Compliance Standard in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA February 20, 2017 - SES Secure E-Waste Solutions has long been the name to know in e-waste recycling in San Diego, and now they have the CalRecycle Standard to back their claims. They've just met the highest possible compliance standard and been named "Recyclers" by the organization, the first company within the city of San Diego to do so.
Understanding the Distinction
CalRecycle offers three categories of compliance standards. Handlers are those individuals who do not have a warehouse or a clearly associated business. There are thousands of them in California. Collectors are those who have some kind of warehouse, but do not comply with all of the regulations. There are at least 600 of those in the state. Recyclers, though, are considered the highest compliance standard. Their facilities are subject to regular inspections.
Until now, there were just 30 named Recyclers in the state. SES, however, was named the 31st in early January.
"Recycling e-waste properly is so important to California and the planet as a whole. We've been working hard to make certain people understand that at SES, our highest priority is ensuring we put the responsible recycling solutions people and businesses need at the fingertips of the community. This distinction is only going to help us do that," said Chief Executive Officer, Larry Kurschner.
A Better Process
SES offers electronics recycling to companies in all sectors and individuals across San Diego County. With convenient pickup services, secure data destruction, and compliance certifications available, they are working to keep the planet green. This added standard is only further proof of that.
